Gozo College Career Exposure Experience

Between the 14th and the 18th of November, all form 4 students from the Gozo College Secondary School will be experiencing the world of work during their Career Exposure Experience (CEE). A total of 89 students have been assigned a professional work placement according to their preferences and likings.

From the health sector to the hospitality industry, from the business world to that of ICT, these opportunities are unique as they give each and every student the chance to be self-sufficient and independent. The aim of this activity is to give students the chance to shadow an occupation from first-hand, as well as the process they need to undergo when applying for a job.

We are assured that this experience will prove beneficial for these students, in their path to become an integral part of our working economy. We feel that such an experience is of paramount importance in our student’s holistic development, as it narrows the gap between the work environment and education; linking the classroom with the place of work.

Din is-sena ser jerġa’ jittella’ Bethlehem f’Għajnsielem. Kif naħseb taf, din hi attrazzjoni partikulari għal żmien il-Milied, presepju ħaj mibni fi spazju kbir fl-inħawi magħrufa Ta’ Passi fir-raħal ta’ Għajnsielem Għawdex. Meta wieħed iżur il-post, malajr isib ruħu fl-ambjent ta’ aktar minn elfejn sena ilu, fil-belt fejn twieled Ġesu’. Wieħed jista’ jammira fost l-oħrajn il-forn, il-ħanut tal-ħaddied, dak tal-mastrudaxxa, l-għar tar-ragħajja, is-suq, il-lukanda, imma fuq kollox l-għar fejn seħħ it-twelid ta’ Ġesu’ Bambin.

Għat-tfal tal-iskejjel, il-presepju ħaj ser ikun animat f’dawn il-ġranet u ħinijiet:
It-Tlieta 20 u l-Erbgħa 21 ta’ Diċembru bejn id-9.30am u n-12.30pm. Id-dħul hu mingħajr ħlas.

Jekk tixtieq li xi klassijiet mill-iskola tiegħek iżuru Bethlehem f’Għajnsielem fil-ġranet indikati, kull ma għandek tagħmel hu li tibgħat e mail lil Lelio Spiteri fuq lelio.spiteri@ilearn.edu.mt u tindika l-ġurnata u l-ħin meta t-tfal tal-iskola tiegħek jixtiequ jagħmlu ż-żjara. Id-dħul huwa bla ħlas.

Bookings jibqgħu miftuħa sat-30 ta’ Novembru 2016.
